Adding a Personal Phone Number (MFA)

Adding a Personal Phone Number:

Upon receiving your RM Speech device, please add a personal phone number to the device account that you will have access to. Please follow the steps below. You will need access to a computer that has Google Chrome as a web browser:

  1. Put Nuvo/Nuvo S/Nuvo XL in Sleep Mode (press the power button once so that the screen is black)

  2. On a computer, use Google Chrome to open: https://account.apple.com/

  3. Click “Sign In”

  4. Enter credentials for Nuvo/Nuvo S/Nuvo XL (assigned Apple ID and password)

  5. Hit Enter

    1. At this point you should see a notification to send to the Nuvo/Nuvo S/Nuvo XL device

    2. Touch the box that says “Apple ID Sign In Requested”

    3. Touch “Allow”

    4. It will prompt for a verification code

    5. Enter that code on Google Chrome

  6. Click on “Account Security”

  7. Click on the plus icon (+) by the trusted phone number

  8. Enter the new phone number

  9. Enter the current password

  10. Enter the verification code sent to that number

  11. Click “Continue”

  12. You should now see 2 trusted phone numbers. The user can now delete the original one.
